Do I need to take produce out of the packaging for Skipper to work in my crisper drawer?

The plastic bags and clamshell containers that salad greens, lettuces, and other veggies are sold in aren't airtight, so repackaging or unwrapping of the produce isn't required.

Just slip Skipper into your crisper drawer with your pre-packaged greens, etc. For best results, set your crisper drawer setting to high humidity/vegetables or close the vent.

FYI, here's some more info about how to use Skipper alongside: 

• Plastic/glass/stainless steel food keepers: These containers are airtight, so leave the container open a bit to avoid trapping excess water inside.

• Eco-bags (mesh, linen, etc.): These bags aren't airtight, so plant that lettuce inside and yer done.
